Funny Love qoutes by Kids

Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way.

When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.

When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.

Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.

Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.

Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings.

Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.

Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.

Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss.

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.

If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you don't like to play with.

Love is hugging. Love is kissing. Love is saying no sometimes.

When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared they won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only do they still love you, they love you even more.

There are two kinds of love- Our love & God's love. But God makes both kinds of them. Love is important to God.

Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.

Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well.

During my piano recital, I was on a stage and scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore.

My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night.

Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken.

Love is when mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.

Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.

I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.

When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.

Love is when mommy sees daddy on the toilet
and she doesn't think it's gross.

You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget, and it's good for them to get reminded.

Happy 6 months!!!

Happy 6 MONTHS today!! I love you Luke!! I am so thankful and blessed from God to have you as my son. I love your beautiful SMILE and those cute cheeks and baby face that melts my heart every time you look at me. Looking back at the day you were born I think about those quite moments when it was just you and me in the hospital learning about each other. When I think about those moments that we had alone in the middle of the night and the early hours of the morning and I feel happiness and a little bit of sadness because I miss it and would like those moments back and I know that I can't get them back and that makes me SAD. I want them back because I know there will never be moments quite like those for us ever again. The kind of moments where you are still in my arms letting me hold you and kiss you and love you and you being alright with that. I know as you get older you will be on the move all the time, not even taking a second to let me hold you and kiss you and love you. Believe me I KNOW this is the truth, because already you won't stay still for some love, unless your being nursed or you are asleep. You are one wild child!! Always on the move and into things you shouldn't be getting into. Just last week I caught you eating one of our ANT traps. LUCKILY!! it was BABY PROOF. I will be watching you like a HAWK from here on out. You are one ORAL baby. Always and I mean you are always putting something into that little mouth of yours. So scary, since you have a big sister who has a bunch of tiny toys lying around the house. Time to start baby proofing this place. Just, yesterday, while I was on the computer I look down at you playing on the floor and you have one of your sister's toys in your mouth. It about gave me a HEART ATTACK!!!! So scary!!! After that occurred I put you right in your play pen so you could stay safe from tiny choking toys that your sister owns. Me, silly old me thinking now your safe, nope, then your sister hops right into your play pen to play with you with her tiny choking toys. What's a Mom to do? A daughter that so desperately wants to play with her brother and a mother that worries about her son choking to death. Only thing I can think of is to make sister play with her choking toys away from baby. I never and I mean NEVER had to worry about this with Emma. She hardly put things in her mouth. I am in CONSTANT worry and fear that LUKE is putting something in his mouth he shouldn't.

Luke is one fast grower!!! He is already in a lot of 18 month clothing, most of it has to do with his height. Such a tall guy!!! I haven't been to his CHECK-UP yet, so I don't have his stats. I will let you know when I go.

Some of his Milestones:

* Can pull himself up to stand in his crib and furniture.
*Can pull himself up to sit
* Crawls on all fours and crawls all around the house
* Eats Baby rice cereal and baby oatmeal.
*Has finished his first week of baby food. Started with peas and is now on squash. He loves the squash, I think a bit more than the peas.
*Can play with his baby toys for long period of time. About 3o minutes.
*Very Oral, will put almost everything and anything in his mouth.

I love Mr. LUKE!!!! He is my handsome guy!! I look forward to many more growing moments that I get to witness with Luke as he grows into a big boy!!!

My TWO Blessings

My two blessings!!! I love my kiddos!! So fun watching them play and love each other. Today during nap time I put Luke in his crib and Emma in her bed and a half and hour later I hear Emma talking to Luke, So I go into there room and Emma is laying next to Luke in his crib. I even laugh right now thinking about it. My favorite favorite thing about these two is when Emma get Luke to laugh. He just LOVES his Big sister and already admires and looks up to her.
I'm so grateful to my Mom for clothing my children with these adorable outfits from Carters.
Luke will put anything and everything in his mouth. So funny to me since Emma was the complete opposite. I rarely caught anything in this girls mouth. Today, I gave Luke a Ritz cracker and he loved it. It made me a little nervous, but he did really well with it.
I love this picture of Luke, he has the silliest smile.

Nice People

Here is my little Luke waiting to board on the plane. He looks like such a big boy in this picture.

I'm so thankful for nice and helpful people in this world!! I was dreading my flight back home so much, that I almost wanted to rent a car and drive back home. No, not really, but I was not looking forward to airport security and taking to very active children on a plane. Lucky for me I was blessed from Heavenly Father with a great flight back home. My Mom helped me through security and waited with me until I got on the plane and then I was lucky enough to sit by a very nice lady named Anna. She was so sweet to my kids and even entertained my little Emma. When it was time to get off the plane, the guy behind me carried some of my luggage and Anna, held Luke held Luke clear down to the baggage claim. Making it so I only had to worry about Emma and a carry on suitcase. All, I can say is how grateful I am and hope that I can do the same to a Mother struggling with her kids one day.

Bed INVADER

Lately, Emma has been worrying a lot about Ghost's in her room and has been trying to sleep in our room. Last night, Luke was crying at 3 A.M., so I got up to go get him and stepped on this little lump on my bedroom floor. Confused at first and then looked down and realized it was Emma. I'm just thankful I didn't squash her. Since she is so small. I told her in the morning, she is more safe in her bed than she is on the floor. I don't know how to get her to stop being afraid of ghosts and to start liking her own bed. She wouldn't take her nap today, so now she is so tired that she is curled up in a ball in our living room sleeping away at 6:45 PM. I guess, I better get her in bed. My little sweetheart!! I love her so MUCH!! She is my best friend. I love her silly sense of humor, always trying to get a laugh out of me and such a tease to her friends, but so loving to her friends. Telling them how much she loves them and giving them big hugs.

Blast from the Past

Today, I had a blast from the past, enjoying some time with some good friends of mine, Raylynn and Jill from good old Crypus High School. It was so much fun laughing and talking about some of the funny things we did in the past. It kind of made me feel like I was young again. We will defiantly have to make this a tradition of getting together whenever I come to town. Lots of fun!! Thanks Raylynn and Jill for the fun afternoon together. Here is Luke and Camry (Raylynn's little girl, isn't she adorable!!)

Here is Jill's adorable little girl!! She is getting so big!! Ican't believe how big she is getting. She looks just like her Mommy!!

American Girl Outfit

Emma looks so cute in her American Girl outfit that her Grams Henderson bought for her for Christmas. Today, was Emma's first day of primary as a sweet little Sunbeam. She was a bit of a wreck but made up for it by looking so cute!! My Mom is the Primary presidant in her ward, so she witnessed all of Emma's antics. My Mom told me she was trying to make friends with this one girl in her class and was hugging on her and asking her to in her words, "hold me!!" She was also really busy at trying to help Grams with the chairs, putting them out and away. During class time her and her friends were busy turing the lights on and off and laughing about it. She reminds me a bit like me when I was a child. I made at least two of my primary teachers cry, because I was such a stinker. All I can say is, bless all those that walk in the pathway of Emma.
