Pretend City
For Emma's school field trip, Emma's preschool teacher took all of the kids to this really fun place called Pretend City, in Irvine, CA. Emma loved every minute of it, well maybe not every minute. At the beginning of the trip she thought I was going to leave her, so she had a tiny meltdown. As soon as she realized I was staying she calmed down and enjoyed herself the rest of the time that we were there. I will defiantly be taking the kids there again. Never knew about this place until today. So, if anyone knows of any fun places around here. Please let me know. Both Emma and I enjoyed the outing and would like to go out more often but, just don't know of a lot of places to go around here.
Watering the play food at Pretend City. Still Watering
And still watering. She could do this all day. She loves the fact that water makes flowers grow.
In fact she can't get enough of water. Here she is playing at the fishing and watering station.
She loved working at all these fun places and then getting pretend money at the ATM.
Posing for Mom at the Pretend City Beach. She played in the sand for quite awhile. The only place she refused to go to was the Drama center.
Emma has always been known to observe other children at play. Here she is doing that.
She gave me a watering can and we both watered the flowers together.
Emma really loved the Farm at Pretend City. They had real baby chicks, she thought they were so cute. As soon as we got home she got out her pretend eggs and talked to me about baby chicks and how they hatch out of eggs.
Emma went Grocery Shopping at the Ralph's grocery store in Pretend City in Irvine, California

PLEASE No Pictures!!
My very Handsome hubby!!
Emma with her beloved "soft blanks" Emma LOVES her blanket and won't go to sleep without it.
Here is Emma still trying to get away from all of the picture taking.
I have such a cute family!! They look so sweet together.
I could just eat those cheeks up!!
Emma is so determined to not let me take a picture of her. When ever I say look at the camera she turns her face away from the camera. So the end result of trying to take pictures of Emma ends up being a shoot about brother because he still lets me take pictures of him. which I know won't last forever. In the end I finally got one shot of her with her blanket and a couple of her with her daddy and brother.

Dear Heavenly Father
Its been so much fun having family prayers with Emma lately. Last night, We were having our family prayer and Emma was so cute about what she was thankful for.
EMMA: "Dear Heavenly Father, I'm thankful for my princess pillow, my humidifier because it helps me breathe and Jesus, because he loves me!!" So precious!! I look forward to every day that I get to spend with this little girl. I was looking at a random blog and a lady posted about being very sad that her Kindergartner was starting her first day of school and how much she was going to miss her. That got me to thinking how close Emma is to turning to the age of a Kindergartner. I know it's not really that close. But time just seems to be flying by to quickly these days. I'm going to miss my little girl when she starts Kindergarten. If only I could FREEZE TIME. I guess for know I will just have to appreciate every moment that I get to spend with her.

Emma was so excited that she says to me. "Horray!!! Horray!! I'm so excited!! Santa is coming to my house!!!!" Another conversation we had was this. I hardly get a chance talking to my mom on the phone because Emma constantly wants to talk, but on an occasion she will talk to Grandma and then hand the phone to me and say, "It's your turn now Mommy."

About my little Girl:
Favorite Show: Max and Ruby. It use to be Dora the Explorer last year and now she can not live without watching this show at least once a day. It's actually a very cute show. It's about a big sister that is very sweet to her little brother and a very cute Grandma that is always doing very sweet things for her Grand kids. The other show that she really likes is "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse."
Favorite Movie: Tinkerbell The Lost Treasure
Favorite Color: Orange, She has expressed how much she loves orange since she was a two year old.
Favorite Food: Toast, whenever I ask her what she wants to eat she tells me she wants toast, sometimes she will say chicken nuggets.
Favorite Dessert: Ice cream
Favorite Princess:
She loves to take baths. Whenever I take a bath she tries to get a bath in. She loves to sing and sometimes be sung to, sometimes not so much. She loves books, sometimes even more than watching the television. It's so cute when she says, "I can read this book all by myself!!" and starts reading it. She has a heart of GOLD and loves her family so much and expresses it often. Emma: "I miss you Mama and or Dad and or Luke!!" Emma is also so sweet to her baby brother. Sometimes loves him so much that she doesn't realize she's hurting him. I have to say the thing that I love the most about Emma is how expressive she is in letting those know she is grateful for the things they do for her. So ENDEARING!! I just can't get enough of this little girl. Everything about her is sweet to the very CORE.
Emma is such a sweet little girl!! I LOVE her so much!! She is my little helper these days. She is so good about helping me with things around the house. And, always gets very excited about helping me. Whether it be getting the broom out of the closet for me or helping me unload the dishwasher. I am so proud of my little girl!! She has changed so much in a YEAR!!! Happy 3 year my little sweetheart!! And I can't wait to experience much much more and know that Heavenly Father has so much in store for such a special spirit as your self.

Luke Stats
Weight: 15 lbs 6 1/2 ounces
74th Percentile
Height: 26 inches
92nd Percentile
Head: 16 1/4"
30th Percentile
Luke is doing so good!! Dr. Ball thinks it's so funny that I have a tiny one and a big one. He said it's really good that Luke is the big one. I agreed with him. I would feel really bad for Luke if he was the small one. I think it would be hard being a tiny boy. Everyone that examines Luke always comments on how strong he is. He was so funny at his appointment today. He was rolling all over the exam table and trying to eat the paper covering the table. Kind of scary trying to keep an I eye on two very mobile kids.
Luke is such a delight!! I love listening to him talk in his baby talk and squeal and laugh with delight at his Mommy and Daddy. Last night, Luke was laughing so much at us. It was so much fun trying to get him to laugh and keep laughing.
Here are some of his milestones:
*Rolls over
*Holds head up really well
* Holds head high and raises body when on stomach
* Can say "Hi"
* Plays with his feet and sucks hands
* Plays with links on his play mat
* Gets up only once to eat at night
* Sleeps in his own bed
I can't wait to see all that Heavenly Father has in store for this little guy. So many fun things about having a boy. I'm excited about buying Luke cars, dinosaurs, and action figures. All of the boy things you can think of. I have always loved little boys. They are so SWEET and TOUGH at the same time. It's adorable and I can't wait to see him grow into a very sweet but tough little guy. I love you Luke and Happy 4 months on the 22nd!!!
I thank Heavenly Father for blessing me with both a BOY and a GIRL. Now I get to experience all of the girl and boy things with them. Emma and Luke are playing together right now. It is soo sweet to watch Emma play with Luke. She is making him pretend cupcakes. So SWEET!! I LOVE my KIDS!!!! Life is meant to be ENJOYED and I am enjoying my life.

Big Girl Bed!!
Emma's adorable grocery cart from her Grandma Hamberlin. Thanks Grandma!!
Emma's Doll from Mom and Dad for her Birthday.
I LOVE all of the details in this blanket. Thanks Grandma Henderson for Emma's Birthday quilt.
Emma talking on the phone before going to preschool. "Hi, Mom!!"
Emma has reached another major milestone last night she slept in a big girl bed for the first time. I was very surprised how easy it was to transfer her. At first she was really upset about not sleeping in her crib and made me and her Dad read to her and got out of her bed once. Finally, she went to sleep and stayed there the whole night and now she is taking a nap in her bed. So AWESOME!!! I loved that she is growing into such a big girl!! Now Luke has a bed!! So AWESOME and WONDERFUL!!! Life is good!!!
